Boise State Physics hosts a monthly astronomy event, the First Friday Astronomy lecture series, at which space scientists give presentations on their astronomy-related work.

These events take place on the First Friday of every month all year round at 7:30pm on-campus and online (boi.st/astrobroncoslive). Events are donation-supported and open to the public. If the weather permits, stargazing follows the lecture. You can find more information here -
