This is a public star party. Which is a gathering of local astronomers where participants may bring various telescopes and binoculars and share their views through them. As it is ‘public’ the location may be unprotected from stray light sources (e.g. car, or building lights) and the site will typically have some form of toilet facilities available.
Everyone is welcome, as it is a great way to learn about various types of astronomy equipment and objects to look at with that equipment
A Go/NoGo message will be sent out the day before or morning of the event via e-mail, a post to facebook, and Groups.io.
